Well we started off our day the best way to start a day off....sleeping in. (Except our entreupreneur, Drew who doesn't have that luxury. He has to deliver papers bright and early. Muhuahaha!)
At 9:30 we opened the newspaper to see that the parade begins at 10. We bolted out of bed, combed hair, put on patriotic attire (red, white and blue)and headed to the Memorial Day Parade. Much to our dismay as we drove through the vacant streets of downtown, we were certain we were missing out on the action. Soon we came upon vast herds of parade goers (about 50 people) ready and waiting. We Made It! We parked our car in the lot and our hineys on the curb just in time for the show to begin....
It was over quicker than than you can figure out how to spell quintessentially!
Almost all of us wore red, white and blue... :D
Gotta run...it's time for S'mores!
